Universal Finder

You can use the Universal Finder to search for text and patterns across all content in your repository. Use the Universal Finder when you don’t know where in your project to search.

To open the Universal Finder, click Tools > Universal Finder.

The Universal Finder scans globally for all repositories associated with your account and across your current repository. The Universal Finder starts searching after you type a single character into the Search files, issues, commits, commands field.

Results

Universal Finder results are separated into Projects, Files, Commits, Commands, Issues, Pull Requests, Releases, and Actions sections. Click a result to open the item in the designated tab.
