What is Zide?

Zide is a desktop app for managing Git repositories, tracking work on GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, and working with AI assistants, all in one window. Zide runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

What’s in Zide

Zide combines three sets of tools that developers normally use separately.

  • Git: Stage and commit changes, manage branches and worktrees, view history, and work with stashes, tags, submodules, and Git LFS.
  • DevOps: Browse and manage issues, code reviews, CI runs, and releases for repositories on GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • AI: Chat with Zide Assist, the built-in AI agent, or connect your own CLI agent. Run prompts, save reusable commands, and start AI sessions in isolated worktrees.

Who Zide is for

Zide is built for developers who want to keep their Git tools, project workflows, and AI assistant in one place instead of switching between a Git GUI, a browser, and a separate AI tool.
